The Insurance Coordinator is part of a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for accurately posting payments, conveying account information to patients, collections and follow-up on account balances & denied claims to achieve maximum reimbursement, as well as performing clerical duties in support of our medical practice.
Required to maintain a working knowledge of third-party payor terminology and requirements. Required to articulately communicate and document patient needs and requests, must keep abreast of scheduled workload at all times and be able to set priorities.
