  • The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a key member of the Firm’s Technology Team and works collaboratively with our Chief Innovation and Technology Officer (CITO) to develop the strategy and lead execution of our Technology Team to drive and support the Firm’s organizational strategies and priorities. The Firm’s Technology Team is led by our CITO who is a member of the Firms Executive Leadership Team.

    Work closely with CITO and industry resources/relationships to stay up to date on new technology and tools and recommend changes that increase efficiency, strengthen security, and/or reduce cost.

    Lead, plan, and direct staffing; including staff development & ongoing training, and the use of outside vendors to ensure efficient, secure, and effective operations.

    Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the IT department. Mentor and develop a high-performance IT team, encouraging cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.

    Communicate organizational goals, initiatives, and projects to the IT team and work with them to develop timeframes and execution plans. Monitor progress to meet agreed upon KPIs, milestones, and outcomes.

    Effectively plan and manage change to technology systems and processes to mitigate negative impacts and encourage employee’s positive view of the IT department.

    Oversee the effective & efficient operation of the IT department.

    Contribute to the development of short- and long-term strategies, initiatives, and priorities to enable the firm to achieve its business and financial goals and align the technology road map to the organization’s growth plan.

    Promote the development of solutions that enable departmental efficiency by leading digital transformation initiatives that advance the firm’s service offerings.

    Collaborate with the CITO to prepare an annual IT budget and monitor and adjust IT spending as needed to meet established budgetary goals.

    Manage supplier/vendor relationships.

    Requirements



    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field (master’s degree preferred).

    10 years working in technology with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an IT leadership role.

    Demonstrated project management skills including organization, planning, time management and prioritization for self and team members.

    Ability to effectively manage change at the department and organizational level.

    High level knowledge of enterprise-wide technology service delivery including cloud technologies, governance, day-to-day operations, security, and industry trends.

    Experience developing best practice operational policies and procedures.

    Demonstrated success with integrating teams across multiple business units.
