Chief MRI Technologist jobs in Indiana
Chief MRI Technologist oversees work in the magnetic resonance department, maintains technical aspects of radiologic safety and evaluates accuracy and quality of MRIs. Schedules work assignments and coordinates requests for services. Being a Chief MRI Technologist recommends new equipment, equipment modification, and crucial construction within the department. May perform duties of MRI Technologist as needed. Additionally, Chief MRI Technologist may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Requires a registration as a technologist by the A.R.R.T. Typically reports to a manager or director. The Chief MRI Technologist manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Chief MRI Technologist typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Fort Wayne Open MRI is looking for 1 or 2 PT/PRN MRI Technologists to join our growing team. The role will be for late afternoons (3pm or 4pm to 7pm or 8pm) and Saturday work. Let us know what hours/days will fit for you. We can work out a schedule that meets both our needs.
Currently we utilize the Hitachi Airis II MRI scanner. Our team is growing and as we expand our footprint in the Fort Wayne area, you will become part of a new imaging center currently being built and will be further trained on a new high field MRI and CT systems once the new Facility is completed.
