Chief Medical Librarian (MLS) manages daily planning, operations, and staff of a medical library to meet the information needs of users. Oversees professional and support staff involved in cataloging, indexing, issuing books/materials, and keeping records of items on loan. Being a Chief Medical Librarian (MLS) selects books and publications for purchase and subscribes to pertinent periodicals as allowed for by the given budget. Responds to more complex requests from faculty, medical staff, and students. Additionally, Chief Medical Librarian (MLS) possess broad and current knowledge of medical developments and scientific literature. Requires a master's degree in library science. Typically reports to a director. The Chief Medical Librarian (MLS) manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Chief Medical Librarian (MLS) typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Chief Buildings is currently seeking Drafting Apprentices. TheDrafting Apprentice prepares documents and drawings for plant fabrication and builder erection of materials, based on the order documents, design package, and drafting procedures.

    Complexity of work will increase based on the Drafting Apprentice’s skills and abilities.

    Job Responsibilities :

    • Develop computer literacy in AutoCAD, MBS, IFS, and other tools / systems available.
    • Develop complete familiarity with Chief’s products and procedures
    • Prepare erection drawings with accurate part identification, quantities, and complete sections and details for proper installation of materials.
    • Prepare legible and easy to comprehend fabrication documents.
    • Keep good established communication with all project management, engineering, and drafting department personnel.
    • Develop and maintain high productivity rate with low errors and ensure that all projects are completed on or before the scheduled due date.

    Qualifications and Skill Requirements :

    • Associate’s Degree in Drafting or related coursework preferred but not required
    • AutoCAD Coursework
    • Time Management
    • Attention to Detail
    • Mathematical Aptitude Trigonometry courseworkpreferred
