LIFE Incorporated provides developmental disability services to adults and children. Staff provide high quality support and assist in teaching new and functional skills while creating a safe and friendly environment.

A behavioral intervention specialist (previously known as HI) job requires passion with working with children and teens (ages 3-17) with developmental disabilities as well as their families. Program focuses on increasing adaptive skills while decreasing maladaptive behaviors. Applicant MUST be energetic, patient, professional, and willing to work within a team setting. Must have a passion for children with challenges.

Applicant MUST have a bachelor's degree in a human services field (i.e. psychology, social work, education, etc.), experience with children with needs, and must be willing to be a hard worker. Would like to accept applicants who already hold a past HI certificate but willing to accept applicants who do not have the certificate and are willing to be trained. Also willing to accept applicants who have recently graduated with their degree.

Position is full time (32-40 hours per week). Benefits package offered. Mileage reimbursement and bi-weekly pay offered as well as other professional perks. Only serious candidates will be looked at-only candidates who have a passion to work with children and families. Professional position starts at $20.00 per hour with possible increase for experience.
