Anticipated starting pay is $22-$38 per hour but depends on experience and nursing license (RN, LPN).
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
· Assesses the full scope of patient needs using the nursing process on a continuous basis
· Observes signs and symptoms and reports changes in the patient’s condition to the physician and/or other appropriate health care professionals
· Provides teaching to client and client family members
· Delegates tasks to other Kore Cares personnel in accordance with the South Dakota Nurse Practice Act
· Uses knowledge and judgement needed to meet nursing needs of the patient
· Nursing tasks may include but are not limited to: wound dressing, medication set up, monitor medication compliance, assess vital signs, assess skin condition, assess nutritional status, assess mobility, assess usage of glucometer, toe/nail care, catheter care, assess health, provide teaching/health education, communicate with physician and pharmacist, blood draws
Qualifications:
· 2 years of nursing experience, preferred
· Must have active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of SD
· Must be able to physically perform the duties of the position
· Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English
· Must have reliable transportation and current valid driver’s license
· Proof of automobile insurance and eligibility for employment in the United States.
