Client Technologies Technician, Sr. jobs in South Carolina
Client Technologies Technician, Sr. maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots desktop hardware and software packages. Interacts with end-users to identify current computing procedures and desktop-based LAN systems software operations and makes selection recommendations accordingly. Being a Client Technologies Technician, Sr. is responsible for writing documentation to describe product corrections. Writes manual for end-users to describe installation and operating procedures. Additionally, Client Technologies Technician, Sr. requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Familiar with the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Typically reports to a manager. To be a Client Technologies Technician, Sr. typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. FEW OF DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. BUILD DESKTOPS, LAPTOPS, AND TABLETS, USING MICROSOFT DESKTOP DEPLOYMENT TOOLKIT.
2. ENSURE THE BITLOCKER ENCRYPTION KEY IS SUCCESSFULLY STORED IN ACTIVE DIRECTORY.
3. ENSURE THE MICROSOFT SYSTEM CENTER CLIENT IS INSTALLED ON EACH LAPTOP, TABLET, AND WORKSTATION DURING THE BUILD PROCESS.
4. ENSURE EACH LAPTOP, TABLET, AND WORKSTATION STAYS CONNECTED TO THE NTS NETWORK FOR AT LEAST 2.5 HOURS AFTER BUILD COMPLETES.
5. ENSURE THAT ALL SOFTWARE LISTED ON THE BUILD SHEET IS INSTALLED ON EACH DESKTOP, LAPTOP, AND TABLET BUILT.
6. ENSURE THAT EACH DESKTOP, LAPTOP, TABLET, AND/OR 27” MONITOR IS PROPERLY DOCUMENTED IN AM CLOUD, ACTIVE DIRECTORY, AND THE DRAKEWELL SPREADSHEET FOR LABELS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PC SUPPORT DRAKEWELL-IAM PROCEDURE MANUAL. - Just Posted
