Putney Food Co-op is looking for a Deli Manager to join our team. The Deli Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the Deli's operations. They will be responsible for the overall success of the Deli and its employees. This, to include, hiring, firing, scheduling, costing out of menu's, salads and sandwiches, Inventory, reviews, ordering, safety, cleaning and training.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clear and consistent direction and expectations to employees
• Establishes written job assignments
• Ensures foodservice area, equipment and utensil cleanliness meet company and health regulation standards
• Ensures all employees adhere to dress code, appearance and health requirements
• Provides timely motivational feedback and coaching to employees
• Monitors orders to insure in stock efficiency
• Reviews management reports and takes appropriate action to insure balanced inventories
• Qualifications:

·Must be at least 18 years old
·Knowledge of Profit and Loss
·Availability to work any shift or day
·Culinary Arts or business management degree preferred
·Serv Safe Certified
·2-3 years department management or equivalent retail management experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
