We’re looking for a Director of Clinical Informatics to help us in Kansas City!
As a Director of Clinical Informatics, you will coordinate and consult all clinical care processes and integration across system wide clinical information technology strategies within the Healthcare System. This includes bridging functions of clinical care and information technology within all aspects of the hospital, including inpatient services, outpatient services, behavioral health, and preoperative services. You will provide expertise in clinical care of patients, medical center operations, and clinical informatics. In addition, you will direct the transformation processes relative to new system implementation, collaborate on an ongoing basis with Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Information Officer & Information Technology and other leadership and staff on matters related to nursing. Your responsibilities will also include managing the planning, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical computerized applications with an emphasis on process re-engineering, reduction of errors, quality improvement, and outcomes measurements.
You will be responsible for driving the client through the design of clinical and business processes, solution and technology workflow, and successful adoption that will lead to achieved value. Lead ongoing relationships with clients, providing account management and clinical domain expertise focusing on client success in applying Oracle's solutions. Through the use of Oracle's implementation approach and methodology, the Consultant will assist in organizational change, help find opportunities for improvement, and is accountable for achieving the project’s targeted outcomes.
