Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. collects clinical outcomes data and performs analysis in support of clinical process improvement initiatives. Responsible for gathering advanced data on performance metrics to facilitate the review of program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Identifies areas for improvement and communicates findings to leadership. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a manager. The Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. The Senior Financial Analyst will add significant value to the company’s bottom line through improving all aspects of financial management in a multi-million dollar operating facility.
Essential Job Functions
-Leads annual standard cost process as well as quarterly costs movement reviews.
-Leads annual physical inventory process and related reconciliation.
-Completes all monthly reports on a timely basis with zero defects.
-Reviews transaction errors to insure proper impact on perpetual and G/L records.
-Reviews variances to determine cause.
-Drives continuous process improvements.
-Supports new product development.
-Analyzes shipments, standard cost valuations, production variance, and other costs analysis.
-Prepares and analyzes cost reports.
-Prepares forecasts for Shipments, Absorption, Inventory, Variances, etc.
-Performs the monthly accounting close process, balance sheet reconciliations and journal entry postings.
-Support compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and related audits.
-Other Adhoc requests / projects.
Education, Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance from an accredited college/ university required.
-Five to Ten (5-10) years’ experience in general accounting and cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
-Knowledge of GAAP (Generally accepted accounting principles).
-Strong PC skills (Excel, Access, Power-Point) required.
-Sound business knowledge applicable to a manufacturing environment.
