Oversees staff who gather data on performance metrics and facilitates the review of clinical program effectiveness. Being a CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER provides advanced analyses and reports on clinical outcomes data. Evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Additionally, CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER identifies areas for improvement and assists leaders/physicians in developing strategies to improve performance. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a director. The CLINICAL OUTCOMES MANAGER typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. The Assistant Nurse Manager Cardiac Care will report directly to the Nurse Manager. They will be responsible for assisting with interviewing and hiring staff for area of responsibility and assist with implementation strategies to retain nursing team members. The Assistant Nurse Manager Cardiac Care assists in assessing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating the clinical and operational functions for their area of responsibility. This individual helps manage staffing resources to provide optimum patient care based on patient’s needs and acuity and is accountable for appropriate utilization of personnel and material resources in accordance with budget. They will support and promote the Shared Governance model, assist in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures, and be accountable for compliance with regulatory standards.
