Cloud Systems Analyst is responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization. Being a Cloud Systems Analyst develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. Additionally, Cloud Systems Analyst monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Description Of Services:
Design and Implement Image Factory Pipelines Develop and maintain automated pipelines for building golden images using Packer, ensuring efficient and reliable image creation processes.
Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to integrate configuration management tools like Ansible into the image creation pipeline.
Implement security best practices in image creation, including vulnerability scanning, compliance checks, and adherence to security policies.
Good experience and knowledge on HashiCorp language, JSON, and YAML.
Implement Infrastructure as Code practices to define and manage the configuration of images, allowing for version control and reproducibility.
Strong proficiency in using HashiCorp Packer for building machine images across multiple platforms.
Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, PowerShell) to automate tasks and streamline image creation processes.
Implement post-processing steps, including checksum verification, to ensure the integrity and security of created golden images.
Familiarity with Ansible for configuration management in the image creation pipeline.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with IaC tools like Terraform to define and manage infrastructure components.
Understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including system administrator, developers, QA, Security and engineering team to understand image requirements and optimize the image creation process.
Identify and resolve issues related to image creation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and secure golden images.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize image creation workflows.
