Cloud Systems Analyst is responsible for the design and management of an organization's cloud systems, applications, policies, and strategy. Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization. Being a Cloud Systems Analyst develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. Additionally, Cloud Systems Analyst monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Cloud Systems Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. - Serve as liaison between business partners and IT team members to provide support of existing systems and translate business concepts and requirements into software solutions and roadmaps.
- Conducts research and analysis of client business processes to make recommendations and exert influence on project direction or decide sub-project direction.
- Partners with business partners to define and prioritize ongoing technology needs, determine overall application controls and application security requirements, ensuring those controls/requirements are documented.
- Works collaboratively with software engineers to translate defined requirements into developed solutions.
- Manages software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities, including requirements gathering, GAP fit analysis, design, configurations, planning, creating, and executing test cases, delivering SOP documents and post go live support for small to medium projects.
- Train and support business partners in areas of expertise relating to application, or business process.
- Ability to work individually and collaboratively as a team member.
- Ability to think differently, eager to try new things, and challenge yourself to improve processes.
- Ability to manage your time and adapt to changing priorities, work on multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, meet quick deadlines, and produce timely and quality work products.
- Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work with Oracle Support to log service request to resolve business issues as they occur until final resolution.
- Experience with SharePoint, MS Teams and other collaborative online tools
- High proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
What You Bring:- Bachelor’s degree in finance or other Business-related degree
- 4 years of relevant Oracle finance Cloud experience
- Fusion Receivables/Collection Cloud Support and Implementation Experience.
- Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in Business or Finance
- CPG business experience
- Commodity business experience
Nice to Have’s- Experience with Business Process Modelling (BPM)
- Experience with (EPM – Planning and Profitability and Cost Management)
