Being a Coating, Painting, and Spraying Machine Operator may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Coating, Painting, and Spraying Machine Operator relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Description
This position is responsible for applying a layer or multiple layers of paint to a product to protect it from the elements and/or make it more aesthetically appealing. Prepares surfaces, cleans product, and applies coating. Reads and can follow product shop drawings and job orders to deliver finished product on time and error free. To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience with commercial spray-painting guns. This task is based in a spray booth.

Screen printing experience a plus
Other spray coating experience
Attention to detail: You will need to have a high level of accuracy and an eye for detail to make sure that the finish of the paint is of the highest standard, that colors match according to the specification, all products are evenly coated and free of debris.
