Collections Specialist - Healthcare jobs in the United States

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Collection Specialist. As a Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for contacting customers to collect outstanding payments and resolve any billing issues. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements for consideration:

• At least 2 years of experience working in a collection agency.
• Comfortable with making inbound and outbound calls.
• Calls to debtors to collect unpaid receivables owed to clients.
• The ability to effectively prioritize work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable, professional, dependable, friendly, highly organized and motivated individual looking for a long-term role.

Knowledge of HIPAA, FDCPA, and insurance billing a plus.

Full Time position-40-hour week 9:00-5:30, including one late night 9:30-6:00

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
