Reporting to the vice president for student affairs and serving as a member of the student affairs leadership team, the associate vice president for student well-being and dean of students will be expected to: be responsible for the planning, implementation and assessment of comprehensive student services that encompass student wellbeing, student development, student transition services, retention and re-enrollment activities, student care and crisis support. Direct leadership and supervision includes the Office of the Dean of Students, Student Accountability, Student Health Center, Student Counseling Center, Title IX, Student Support and Outreach, and the Center for Race, Equity and Identity; the dean of students also serves as a liaison on several committees facilitating communication in support of an integrated college-wide student service model that provides a student-centered experience.
