The Vice President for Academic Partnerships serves a critical role in the development and growth of programs and relationships throughout the Odessa College service area. Reporting directly to the college President, and with direct oversight of the college’s dual credit, recruitment and outreach, extension site operations, academic advising and support. The Vice President for Academic Partnerships is responsible for working with community leaders and partners to identify needs, and opportunities for growth of OC programs throughout the service area. The Vice President for Academic Partnerships serves as a strategic thought leader who develops and provides a broad range of public relations activities and strategic communications on behalf of the Office of the President and the institution at large.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree from a regionally accredited university;
Strong communication & interpersonal skills including both verbal and written communications;
Demonstrated ability to manage fiscal and personnel resources, to establish priorities and to provide effective leadership and direction; Commitment to shared governance and participatory leadership;
Demonstrated experience in a leadership position at a K-12 or a post-secondary institution or equivalent;
Instructional administration experience;
Documented ability to provide leadership in achieving meaningful institutional objectives
Understanding of and commitment to the mission of the comprehensive community college;
Commitment to collaborate with all components of the College to ensure student success.
