1. Position: Summer Food Service Program Meal Preparation Staffing

Summer Site Lead (1 position): 4 hours per day/4 days per week (hours may vary depending on program size)

Support Staff (2 positions): July 8 - August 15, 2024

4 hours per day/4 days per week - 

Work Site:      Westridge

Start Date:     July 8, 2024

1. Minimum Qualifications (All Applicants):
2. High school diploma or equivalent (If current student, this requirement is waived).
3. Ability to follow directions and carry out assigned tasks.
4. Must obtain a Food Handlers card (Reimbursed by District).
5. Knowledge of kitchen utensils, equipment and sanitary methods of food preparation/handling.
6. Valid Driver’s License

            Site Supervisor –

1. Organizing and assisting with food preparation and distribution.
2. Paperwork requirements - meal counts, production records, food inventory. Communicate food needs with the Food Service Coordinator on a regular basis.  Deliver completed paper work to the Food Service Coordinator daily. 
3. Organizing and managing staff for food preparation/distribution.

Both positions:

1. Preparing, handling and storing food in accordance with proper food safety guidelines
2. Understanding the Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP) System
3. Ensuring food service equipment is properly maintained and secured
4. Able to lift up to 50 lbs
