Commercial Tire Technician performs tire and tire related services at commercial service centers according to company requirements. Mounts, demounts and balances commercial and other tires and wheels as directed by a service manager or a more senior technician. Being a Commercial Tire Technician follows established procedures to inspect tires, wheels and vehicles before and after service, noting additional needs and notifying the service manager or supervising technician. May be responsible for replenishing inventory and maintaining shop supply levels. Additionally, Commercial Tire Technician may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Commercial Tire Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We are seeking an experienced and quality-driven commercial road service technician to fill an open position in our Conley service center. Our ideal candidate will be positive, dependable, hard-working, and safety-conscious.
The role of the Roadside Technician position in our company can be broken down into one sentence: “An emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets”. To elaborate a bit further; when a customer has a tire-related failure, a Technician is dispatched to the customer's location to repair or change the tire. This means that a Technician is expected to be roadside when performing their job duties. During times when there are no service calls pending, Technicians will be expected to help mount orders, clean and organize the shop, and other general duties as needed.
Experience isn't required for this position. You will be trained in any skills required.
