Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) seeks an exceptional book editor to contract with our Technical Editing and Communications (CEA-TEC) group. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the book publication process and an interest in World War II, Cold War, and LANL history.
This is an as-needed position to work on specific book projects. In this role, you will work with a small team including authors, historians, archivists, designers, and customers to produce high-quality books for print. You will be a self-starter with demonstrated experience interacting with authors and other editors to make editorial choices, taking into consideration the author’s voice and audience as well as the organization’s style guide.
