Community Development Compliance Specialist ensures the organization's adherence with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) banking laws. Reviews and analyzes lending activity data as well as other activities and policies of the organization to ensure compliance with CRA policies. Being a Community Development Compliance Specialist coordinates the preparation of required government, regulatory, and other compliance documents for all community development activities. Advises management and coordinates with legal staff on potential impact of actions. Additionally, Community Development Compliance Specialist develops and recommends guidelines and standards to assist with compliance. Has current and extensive knowledge of all CRA regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Community Development Compliance Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Community Bridges is looking for a part-time
    Quality and Compliance Coordinator in Concord, NH!

    We are a non-profit agency founded in 1982 with a mission to advance the integration, growth, and interdependence of people with developmental disabilities within their own communities. Building on the strengths of over 1,100 individuals in the greater Capital Area and their families, we work to identify barriers of access to find creative solutions to develop meaningful community engagement.


    The Quality & Compliance Coordinator is responsible to provide certification related administrative duties. 50% of the time preparing for certification and 50% of the time quality assurance of certified programs and care tasks. Assists in filling in with direct care needs on an ongoing basis to ensure knowledge of the needs of each residence and to understand the scheduling needs of the individuals that the agency serves.


    Qualifications:

    • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Experience: At least 3 years’ experience working with different personality types. Must be personable, detail oriented, organized and self-motivated.

    Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of automobile insurance.


    Compensation and Benefits

    There is a $1000 sign-on bonus for this position - $500 will be paid at the time of hire and $500 will be paid after 6 months in the role.

    • Please note, sign-on bonuses are for new hires only. Re-hires and transfers are not eligible at this time.

    Paid Time Off: For a full-time employee working 40 hours a week, 264.16 hours of Paid Time Off is received per year! PTO days will increase over the years based on longevity and there is no waiting period to start using your PTO!

    Paid Training: As an employee, you are paid your usual rate of pay while attending training


    Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Collect information about new or existing individuals to understand support needs.
    • Complete initial visit by visiting EFC home in preparation of placement.
    • Check new homes to verify certification compliance.
    • Support/Assist Program Manager with handling Life Safety Report by contacting coordinating with Fire Department. Attend life safety and obtain approval or assist in addressing concerns needing corrections.
    • Process documentation for provider and family background and review the results for any violations.
    • Communicate with HR regarding new hires to ensure background checks are complete with no violations, before start date.
    • Review/complete waiver application process for any violation. File wavier information and update in quarterly certification data sheet. Submit renewal waivers 90 day before expiration.
    • Collect individual information for certification applications.
    • Must complete Certification Applications.
    • Must complete Emergency Applications.
    • Submit new program applications for certification.
    • Track renewal certifications and email managers 60 days before certification expires, prepare and submit renewal application.
    • Submit updated applications as needed.
    • Review emergency checklist with Program Manager and facilitate completion for approval.
    • Submit emergency application in consultation with program manager and track and submit for renewed for additional 45 days (if needed).
    • Ensure required home provider trainings are completed and records available.
    • Ensure required staff trainings are complete before completion of staff orientation.
    • Assist in orientation as needed.
    • Set up books for new residences and update existing books, visit program locations to ensure that residential books are updated regularly. Proactively prepare books and documentation for certification.
    • Schedule/Attend State Certifications as representative of Community Choices.
    • Schedule regular home and staff residence visit for QA.
    • Collect 5 day visit form completed by CM and RN for program move or new program.
    • Performs other required duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    • Must be detail oriented, have strong organizational skills and be able to complete accurate work products on deadline.
    • Ability to independently manage multiple work tasks.
    • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
    • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule.


    Work Environment and Physical Demands:

    • Work Environment – must be able to maintain a positive and professional demeanor in busy program environment.
    • Physical Demands – must be able to sit or stand at a workstation. Occasional walking may be required.


    Travel:

    Ability to frequently travel and may have a need to transport an individual we support utilizing personal vehicle as well as Community Choices’ vehicles/wheelchair vans. Must possess and maintain a valid NH driver’s license and safe driver’s record in accordance with Community Choices standards with adequate liability insurance. Must have access to personal vehicle during all scheduled work hours.
