Community Engagement and Outreach Specialist coordinates initiatives designed to promote and represent the organization and brand as a socially responsible force in the community. Administers outreach programs that engage, support, and collaborate with the community to develop and expand relationships. Being a Community Engagement and Outreach Specialist serves as the organization's liaison with various constituents and stakeholders. Assists with the coordination of events, managing volunteers, and applying for grants. Additionally, Community Engagement and Outreach Specialist typically requires a bachelor's degree. Provide program coordination and collaboration with partners, stakeholders, and communities in the Cape and Islands region to support the HRSA Rural Public Health Workforce Training Network (RPHWTN) grant project.
