The Community Engagement Specialist will work closely with the Development Director to support the FQHC's fundraising, community & patient engagement, service promotion, and development efforts. The Community Engagement Specialist will serve as a creative and innovative designer of social media and donor engagement efforts by developing and implementing strategies to increase the FQHC's visibility and engagement on social media platforms, and to build relationships with donors and supporters.
Develop social media content: The community specialist will collect and develop engaging and informative social media content, such as posts, videos, and graphics, to promote the FQHC's services and impact, and to engage with the community. This will involve developing a content schedule, conducting audience research, and monitoring social media metrics to optimize content performance.
Engage with followers and supporters: The Community Engagement Specialist will be STRIDE’s storyteller. This position will work with the Development team to collect qualitative documentation of STRIDE’s unique program and support the story telling and promotion of STRIDE’s programmatic success. They will engage with followers and supporters on social media platforms by responding to comments and messages, sharing user-generated content, and building relationships with key influencers and advocates. This will build a sense of community around the FQHC and foster deeper engagement and loyalty among supporters.
Support donor engagement strategies: This position will work with the Development team to develop strategies to engage donors and supporters, such as creating donor recognition programs, organizing fundraising events, and providing opportunities for donor involvement and feedback. This will help to build long-term relationships with donors and supporters and foster a culture of philanthropy and giving within the community.
Leverage emerging technologies: A community specialist will stay up-to-date with emerging social media and engagement technologies, and identify opportunities to integrate these technologies into the FQHC's engagement and fundraising strategies.
Create Clinic and Patient Resources: This position will support the Director/s of Business Operations, specialty program leaders, and external partners with signage, handouts, and social media toolkits.
Coordinate Media Interactions: This position will support the Director of Development with the coordination of Media opportunities and strategic releases and media advisory.
Additional Duties/Responsibilities
We Offer $55,000 - $65,000 annually including:

Knowledge, skill and ability:
Education or Formal Training: Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required.
Experience:
Material and equipment directly used:
Computer, multi-line telephone systems, digital camera, digital recorder, I-pads, ring lights, Adobe cloud, Canva, mobile phone, personal transportation vehicle, and all Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel and the internet.
Working environment/physical activities:
This is a hybrid model position. Anticipated: 1-2 days/ week in clinic. 2-4 days working from home. Working from home with necessary in-person attendance, and community and clinic collaboration and outreach is to be expected.
Moves/transports objects up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally to various locations throughout the metro area. Communicates information to others. Communicates information to others. Discerns/analyzes information from others to assist in decision making processes.
