    Job Description

    • Coordinate with First Responder and Non-profit agencies to arrange for and track critical incident and stress management programs and administer contractual requirements.
    • Coordinate programs designed to engage communities in violence reduction and other out-reach programs.
    • Interprets, explains and applies state and federal rules, regulations, and program guidelines.
    • Assists with the development and dissemination of program policies, procedures, and program guidelines.
    • Prepares reports covering programmatic requirements.
    • Prepares and presents program specific training sessions to grant applicants.
    • Reviews grant applications and participates in the rating and eligibility determination process.
    • Monitors and tracks the progress of grant projects by maintaining regular contact with program administrators and maintain progress logs, status reports, and compliance records.
    • Conducts on-site performance audits to evaluate progress of projects and review grant files and contractual documents.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Knowledge of critical incident stress management concepts and theories.
    • Knowledge of trauma informed practices.
    • Ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
    • Knowledge of program compliance review techniques.
    • Knowledge of public safety compliance programs and their objectives, rules, and regulations.
    • Ability to plan and organize work activities to achieve program goals.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to maintain positive working relationships.
    • Ability to travel.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree with related coursework or 4 years of related experience. Previous grant and accounting experience preferred. Relevant education and experience may substitute for deficiencies.
