Administers outreach programs that engage, support, and collaborate with the community to develop and expand relationships. Being a Community Engagement and Outreach Specialist serves as the organization's liaison with various constituents and stakeholders. Assists with the coordination of events, managing volunteers, and applying for grants. Additionally, Community Engagement and Outreach Specialist typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Community Engagement and Outreach Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Community Outreach Outreach Specialist
Part time, seasonal, 2-5 hours per event averaging around 5 events per year, $20/hour from May through September 2024. We plan to hire 3 people to this position.
The two benefits of this position include 1) paid training and 2) mileage reimbursement from the Trailnet office downtown to and from events, programs and duties.
