Position Summary
The Community Outreach Specialist is responsible for developing and executing effective outreach strategies in underserved communities, expanding the reach of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls in an assigned target area. S/he is responsible for increasing participation and the accessibility of Girl Scouts to the community through the recruitment and formation of new volunteer-led troops, and through the formation and support of Girl
Scout troops facilitated through community-based partnerships.
