    Summary of Role  
     
    Full-time position receiving shipments, inspecting and organizing freight, and scheduling our install appointments.  Additionally, administrative help assisting with our office and showroom.  
     
    Responsibilities
    • Responsible for daily deliveries, checking in orders, and overall warehouse organization.  
    • Assist in inspecting shipments and prepping for installation.
    • Schedule installs including contacting customers and coordinating installers schedules. 
    • Work closely with vendors, shipping companies, installers, sales consultants, and customers.
    • Coordinate with the office, sales team, and vendors to resolve any difficult installs or issues.
    • Coordinate the repair of broken or damaged products and work with manufacturers to resolve issues as necessary.
    • Assist with the inventory of parts, tools, and equipment.
    • Willing to occasionally assist with the installation of all types of window treatments at residential and commercial job sites as needed.  
    • Assist with customer satisfaction experience.   
    • Assist with streamlining back-end operations. 
    • Assist with the measuring of homes and businesses for window treatments.
    • Assist in other office and showroom duties including interacting with customers and vendors.
     Qualifications
    • Organizational and detail oriented skills.
    • Friendly, courteous, and pleasant with all types of people.
    • Ability to learn and install new technology as introduced to the window covering and installation industry.
    • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Current and valid driver's license and insurance.
    • Punctual and dependable.
    • Able to pass a drug screen test and background check plus clean driving record.
    • Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and can climb up and down ladders.
    • Appropriate level of administrative experience and skills. 
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as work well with co-workers and management. 
    • Able to successfully pass a background check and other pre-employment screening.
    • Must be a TEAM player.
    • A passion or interest for window coverings and design is an added bonus.
    • Prior general carpentry/workmanship skills from any industry or experience working as an in-home installer a plus.
    Physical Requirements
    • Able to stand, kneel, bend at knees, squat throughout the day. 
    • Able to sit at a desk comfortably while working on a computer, for extended periods of time. 
    • Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
    • Able to climb up and down ladders. 
    • Able to assist covering showroom including occasional Saturdays.
    Compensation / Additional Considerations
    • Salary range $17.00 to $21.00 depending on experience.
    • Additional 3% IRA match available.
    • Work location is at our office; we do not offer remote work.   
    • We currently do not offer health benefits.  We do partner with an independent insurance broker that has helped our team get excellent insurance at competitive rates.  Please do not apply if health benefits are a primary requirement for your employment.
