The Compensation Analyst will oversee the organization's compensation strategy ensuring outcomes meet short and long-term strategic goals and business objectives. Applies best practice compensation principles to provide customized compensation solutions designed to support business and leadership strategies particularly in a period of high growth and evolution in our field operations. Ensures programs meet objectives with regards to internal equity and external market competitiveness and are implemented effectively, within established budgets and comply with all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards. Collaborates with senior leaders to provide a high level of consultative and support services, ensuring programs are effectively implemented and are consistent with the organization's overall reward strategy.
Salary position: ranging between 70,000-80,000

Work experience: 5 years of classification and compensation experience
Education: High School or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or Finance preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Ensures all compensation payouts are accurate and consistent with plan designs. Generates reports and overall compensation analysis for executive team, makes proposals for changes when necessary.
· Engages senior leaders in compensation concerns and best practices. Leads discussion around incentive plan effectiveness and overall behavioral changes. Helps prepare wage analysis for proposals.
· Creates analytical models to provide analysis for all assigned compensation plans. Defines base pay compensation programs; monitor the effectiveness of processes and recommend modifications to the senior leaders. Provides expertise to managers on compensation practices, job slotting, and salary recommendations. Reviews FLSA compliance and regulatory pay practices and makes recommendations.
· Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures. Recommending plan revisions as well as new plans, which are cost effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives. Updates salary matrix based on annual compensation surveys and legal requirements. Assists in maintaining salaried and hourly pay structures.
· Participates in the job evaluation process, which includes determining FLSA and Grade level placement, managing the job description library, maintaining job pricing software, and conducting internal equity analysis.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong excel experience.
Experience in design and implementing compensation plans, creating and updating salary matrix, compa ratios and providing input into the overall compensation strategy.
Project management and high level of organizational skills.
Ability to confidently communicate plans to employees as well as resolve sensitive issues.
Excellent organizational, analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to collect, organize, and interpret data from diverse sources.
Ability to work independently and to influence others.
