    Final Mile Operations Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and managing the delivery process of items to customers. This role involves overseeing the logistical operations, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery process. The Final Mile Operations Supervisor will work side by side with the Operations Manager, branch team members, warehouse associates and delivery teams on Final Mile logistics work. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of department supervisors as assigned.
    • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
    • Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the logistical aspects of the delivery process, including coordinating with delivery personnel, monitoring delivery, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
    • Maintain open communication with internal teams, warehouse staff, and customers to provide updates on delivery schedules, address any issues or concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Monitor day-to-day operations, report on quality performance, KPIs and recommend actionable improvements when necessary.
    • Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the delivery process, such as delays, damages, or customer complaints.
    • Ensure the quality and condition of items being delivered meet company standards and customer expectations.
    • Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, customer information, and any incidents or discrepancies encountered during the delivery process.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve delivery processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, customer service, and warehouse staff to coordinate delivery schedules and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
    • Creates and sends out daily reports as needed.
    • Onboard and train new employees to ensure that they adhere to standard operating procedures.
    • Ensures that assigned departments comply with company policies and safety standards.
    • Coordinates with human resources to respond to employee concerns or complaints.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Required Education:

    4-year college degree or equivalent work experience.

    Required Experience:

    One or more years’ experience of management experience.

    Works in both an office and warehouse environment.

    Physical Demands:

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
