Computer Operations Supervisor supervises computer operations, acting as a team resource for guidance and support on complex or unusual issues. Implements policies and procedures to perform routine tasks to maintain computer equipment and its peripherals. Being a Computer Operations Supervisor continuously monitors the efficacy of computer operations, backup processes, system monitors, and server availability to ensure operation goals are met. Analyzes and records error messages to diagnose issues and works with impacted groups to provide a timely solution. Additionally, Computer Operations Supervisor recommends potential equipment upgrades to improve the capabilities of computer operations. Ensures computer operations activities meet pre-established production targets and maintain operating budgets. May require an associate degree in a related area. Typically reports to a manager. The Computer Operations Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Computer Operations Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. We provide end-to-end medical transportation as well as fire services, integrated healthcare solutions and disaster response.JOB SUMMARYThe Supervisor Operations is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations which may include staffing, scheduling, ensuring maintenance of equipment and supplies, internal communications, budgetary considerations, outside agency interface, and community relations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES• Supervise, direct, and develop field staff to provide the highest possible level of patient care. • Maintain quality field operations through daily contact, oversight, communication, and evaluation.• Act as a liaison between the company and its patients, public safety agencies, training institutions, hospital representatives, and other applicable personnel.• Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations, provide disciplinary actions to assigned personnel, and facilitate individual and team development to drive positive results. • Work with other members of the Management and Supervisory team to minimize problems, correct staffing and scheduling issues, and continuously improve service.• Participate in the development, formulation, modification, and implementation of department policies, standards, regulations, and general operating guidelines and procedures associated with EMS delivery.• Maintain appropriate staffing levels for field units, manage shift calendars, and facilitate shift bids. • Cover open shifts with appropriate employee assignments or by filling in as needed.• Supervise the effective operation, utilization, and maintenance of medical apparatus and equipment. • Develop specifications for ordering and placing equipment in service.• Review Patient Care Reports (PCRs) and other field paperwork for accuracy, ensuring that it is reconciled timely on a daily basis.• Thoroughly investigate incidents and complaints involving assigned units or personnel and resolve in the best manner possible.• Prepare reports and manage projects as assigned by the Operations or General Manager.• Assure that all necessary payroll is properly completed and submitted in a timely manner.• Assist with and engage in the recruitment and training of new employees. • Maintain employee training records and track employee certifications/accreditations for compliance.• Champion affirmative action efforts in all aspects of employment, including but not limited to staffing, training, and promotion. • Comply with and enforce all applicable laws, policies, and procedures.• Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSExperience:• Minimum 3 years of EMS field experience. • Prior FTO or other leadership/supervisory experience preferred. Education:• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED). • Some advanced education preferred. Skills:• Ability to function as an EMT/Paramedic and perform direct patient-care activities in the field with a high level of proficiency. • Thorough knowledge of equipment and supplies used in emergency care, patient care, and transport.• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.• Strong listening and comprehension skills. • Ability to adapt to quickly evolving situations. • Attention to detail and strong technical skills. • Thorough knowledge of System Status management.• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.• Ability to successfully pass a Physical Agility Test.Credentials/Licenses: • State EMT/Paramedic Certification. • State Driver’s License with driving record in compliance with GMR’s Safety & Driving policy (proof required if conditional employment is made). • Ambulance Driver’s License.• BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, BTLS/PHTLS Certifications. 

    WORKING CONDITIONS AND MENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Working Conditions:• Frequently works in an office setting or out in the field.• Works alone and with others utilizing phone, email, and face-to-face communication.• Occasionally works extended shifts.Physical Demands:• Must be able to lift, drag, hoist, and carry different types of equipment and other objects.• Frequently required to sit, talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands to handle or operate objects/tools/controls, reach/pull with hands and arms, and drive an ambulance.• Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, and smell.• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 200 pounds with the assistance of a partner.Mental Requirements:• Analyzation, perception, computation, problem-solving, judgment, reasoning, and decision-making.GUIDING VALUES AND BEHAVIORSEmployee must consistently exhibit our guiding principles:• Patient Care - We continually earn the privilege to care for our patients.
