Job Summary:

Commuter Express is seeking a reliable and experienced Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Specialist to join our team. As a NEMT Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting clients to their appointments in the Omaha Metro Area. As a family-oriented company, our hours of operation are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Weekly compensation!

Responsibilities:

• Transport clients to designated locations in a safe, timely manner adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with dispatch and other team members to coordinate schedules, optimize routes, ensuring efficient service delivery.
• Effectively communicate with a diverse pool of clients addressing questions or concerns with an emphasis on client satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean vehicle, conduct daily inspections and identify required vehicle maintenance.
• Adhere one hundred percent to HIPAA rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Pass Local/Federal Background Check, CPS/APS Registry Check and Random Drug Screenings.
• CPR/First Aid, Defensive Driving and Passenger Assistance Safety and Sensitivity (PASS) certificates are required. Paid Training available.
• Excellent driving record with an inclination towards logistics.
• Ability to think/work independently with minimal supervision, while also functioning well as part of a team.
• Fundamental understanding of how vehicles operate e.g. safety equipment and maintenance alerts/notifications.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
