We are currently seeking a Web Content and SEO Analyst to join our team in Morrisville, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).

NTT Data Services is seeking a highly motivated, flexible, organized, and detail-oriented Web Content and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Analyst to join our great team. We support a project/customer that "reduces the burden of human illness and disability by understanding how the environment influences the development and progression of human disease.” What you do matters and has significant impact on the medical and scientific communities we serve. Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of web and application developers and designer, for a company that is rapidly expanding in the area, to support web sites and online applications for a government research institute.

• Work quickly and carefully to complete small website edits requested by customers, gather requirements to assist the developers in creating plans for completing larger projects, and suggest new solutions to improve existing websites.

• Communicate with customers, understand the requirement gathering process, document work/time details in job tracking system and be flexible to change your priorities if the customer’s priorities change.

• Review our websites, analyze the traffic to/from the websites and evaluate future enhancements to improve usability, SEO and page traffic.

• Develop optimization strategies that increase the website search engine results rankings.

• Determine measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts.

• Conduct page optimization for search engine marketing

• Monitor performance metrics with SEO tools such as Google analytics to understand SEO strategy performance.

• Perform ongoing keyword research, discovery and optimization for new SEO keywords to use throughout the websites

• Change website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline.

• 3-4 years of working experience in analysts position with strong quantitative analytical skills, preferably within the web development field.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with clients and present findings.

• Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods

• A background in creating reports showing web analytics data and site evaluations.

• Experience in building inbound organic search traffic and improving SERPs

• Well organized and detail oriented with an ability to multitask.

• Strong knowledge about Web analytics and Search Engine Optimization.

• Working experience with HTML/HTML5, CSS and JavaScript’s.

• Understanding of 508 compliancy.

• This position offers the flexibility to work remotely, but the chosen candidate must obtain a government-issued badge. To acquire the badge, the candidate will need to make arrangements to collect it from one of the NIH Badge Issuance offices located in Washington DC, North Carolina, or Montana.

• Applicants selected will be subject to a Public Trust background security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information. US Citizens or Permanent Residents preferred.
