Content Manager - Web jobs in Connecticut

We are looking for an amazing, inbound marketer to own the majority of the content writing for our company. You will write and optimize content, assist in attracting site traffic, and converting that traffic into new leads for the business.

Responsibilities

· Develop a content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets

· Create and publish a variety of engaging content

· Edit, proofread, and improve posts

· Work closely with revenue team to ensure brand consistency

· Optimize content according to SEO best practices

· Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic

· Maintain and manage editorial calendar

· Collaborate with leadership and technical teams for topic brainstorming

· Support the creation of marketing materials to include brochures, web copy, videos.

· Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw the audience’s attention

Success Criteria

· Production of 3 articles per week

· Website and social media traffic growth

· Increases in key search engine keyword rankings

· Increase in conversion metrics

· 3 years minimum writing experience

· Deadline driven

· Hubspot familiarity a plus
