Content Manager - Web manages the overall curation activities required to produce content for web, mobile, and other platforms. Leads the research, coordination, and editorial work of curators and writers. Being a Content Manager - Web ensures that established branding and style guidelines are implemented correctly. Develops relationships with vendors and other sources needed to produce the quantity and quality of required content and negotiate terms and pricing. Additionally, Content Manager - Web designs methodologies used to analyze content consumption data and to define content needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Content Manager - Web manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Content Manager - Web typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. - Experience with ADA accessibility standards and building web platforms that are accessible.
- Excellent organizational skills and superb attention to detail.
- Ability to exercise tact, diplomacy, sound judgment, personal integrity, and discretion.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to independently develop solutions to problems and issues.
- Ability to effectively plan workload, meet established deliverables, and manage competing priorities.
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, multitasking environment and change task focus quickly, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with corporate communications concepts and change efforts.
