The Senior Marketing Content Writer is an experienced creator of high-level content who develops compelling messaging and collateral in alignment with AM Best's brand identity and strategic objectives. Transforms information gained from internal subject matter experts and product specialists into original copy that attracts customers and boosts brand awareness. The Senior Marketing Content Writer will also demonstrate a broad understanding of AM Best's various product lines, services and customer base.
• Handles high-level projects that require experienced writing skills, substantial product knowledge, understanding of corporate brand identity, and demonstrated success in working on high profile, cross-functional initiatives• Writes original, creative copy for emails, advertisements, Web pages, social media posts, media kits, virtual and in-person event support materials, video scripts and other marketing collateral• Routes materials for approval to project stakeholders and implements requested revisions in alignment with corporate standards and strategic objectives• Coordinates and leads status meetings with representatives of client departments to discuss upcoming and in-progress initiatives• Interacts with other content creators (editorial teams, graphic designers, video team, web developers) on all production aspects of a project• Participates in coordination of live streaming events• Prepares weekly status reports for department management• Participates in and presents material at monthly all-team meeting• Assists in on-boarding new team members as needed
• Bachelors Degree in Marketing, English or related field preferred.• 7 years of relevant writing experience, preferably within business-to-business environment (marketing writing experience within the financial services and/or technology sector strongly preferred).
