The main role of DMAD is to lead the Agency of Education in developing and implementing a coherent, cohesive, enterprise-wide data strategy, thus enabling the Agency to support the varied data applications, disparate systems, and workflows in use across the organization. The DMAD Deputy Division Director operates with a high level of technical competency and managerial oversight, overseeing the Division's data infrastructure, supporting the Division Director in overseeing the development and implementation of the AOE's enterprise portfolio of data work, practices, and systems. Collaborative work with the Agency of Digital Services and other internal and external partners is expected.
