Position Summary:
The Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting and retaining adult volunteers and girl members in assigned program-grade levels K-12 by providing programs, guiding and mentoring, developing and delivering resources, and building and maintaining partnerships to assist volunteers in their work with girls. The Program Coordinator works collaboratively with members of the Mission Delivery Team as well as cross-functionally with other departments to ensure achievement of the goals of the Council.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Program Grade Level Support
· Mentors adult volunteers to work with girls in assigned program-grade level area (K-12) to ensure delivery of programs and services to girls.
· Interprets the Girl Scout Leadership Experience philosophy and the council’s policies, procedures and standards.
· Works with cross-functional team to determine or develop innovative strategies to ensure the effective support of troop leaders and program-grade levels within service units.
· Monitors and provides support for problem solving and conflict resolution in a timely manner.
· Cultivates relationships with appropriate community leaders, organizations, and businesses to support retention efforts.
· Optimizes use of technology to support customer service for volunteers.
Support functions of the call center process.
· Answers, problem-solves, manages and responds appropriately to all inquiries including but not limited to email, cases, phone and walk-in customers.
Program delivery/resource development
· Assists in achieving the council’s membership and retention goals for girls by development, coordination and delivery of quality programs, events, ceremonies, camps, curricula, and additional resources as driven by market needs.
· Recruits, trains, and supports volunteers for the effective delivery of council programs.
· Recruits, trains, and supports volunteers for the effective delivery of volunteer-run summer camps.
· Builds and maintains program registrations and provides rosters for program partners as needed to support the effective delivery of programs.
· Updates and maintains yearly program dashboard and registration data to accurately identify # of girls served.
· Prepares and coordinates budgets (including grant budgets) to ensure adherence to approved program for girls.
· Ensures Girl Scouting is open to all girls and adults by delivering the Girl Scouts message of pluralism and diversity to members of the council.
Outreach Program delivery
· Assists in achieving the council’s membership and retention goals for girls by development, coordination and delivery of quality outreach programs, camps, ceremonies, curricula, and additional resources as driven by market needs.
Key Performance Indicators:
· # girls served in council-sponsored program events focused on 4 program pillars (STEM, Outdoors, Entrepreneurship, and Life Skills)
