Your Role

• Work with the project team and/or the QCM/QAR in the development of project specific quality control plans
• Work to continuously improve MC’s quality control program to become “Best in Class” and an industry leader in QC
• Generate and conduct training, relative to QC processes and procedures
• Lead investigation into non-conformances, determine root cause, recommend corrective actions, publish non-conformance bulletins
• Ensure QMS/QARs maintain the required certifications needed per the project specifications
• Mentor the development of QCM/QARs and provide continuous feedback on performance

Your Education and Experience

• Minimum 15 years’ combined experience within the construction industry, as a Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, and/or Construction Manager required
• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred
• Experience with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Construction Quality Management for Contractors, preferred

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50-60lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, and safely maneuver around the nearby presence of various construction equipment and vehicles, on an active construction site
• Prepared to regularly encounter moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, and a variety of outside weather conditions
• Able to climb temporary or permanent stairs, and ladders
• Able to bend, squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, balance and stoop, reach on a regular basis
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
