Being a Corporate Giving Director manages the budget for charitable giving, evaluates grant proposals, and monitors the impact of the company's charitable contributions. Develops employee volunteer programs to engage employees, offer participation to wider audience, and raise awareness about the organization's charitable initiatives. JOB TITLE:
Annual Giving Internship
JOB PURPOSE:
This position will support the Annual Giving department during the semester/year at the University of Wyoming Foundation. The Annual Giving Intern will support the department with a wide range of projects related to fundraising, targeted stewardship strategies, ongoing solicitations, preparing for Giving Day and leading WyoGold Student Organization. The intern will partner with the Annual Giving team members and gain hands-on experience in philanthropy work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain customer service focus in all interactions with Foundation constituencies including donors, campus partners, and staff to further the goals of the organization.
· Assist the Annual Giving Team with all tasks related to direct mail solicitations, digital solicitations and crowdfunding campaigns.
· Create targeted stewardship videos for donors via our ThankView platform.
· Provide support with planning, implementing, tracking and monitoring appeals and updating the internal tracking metrics and reporting regularly.
· Assist in proofreading, writing and editing of solicitations, campaigns, and other written communications from the annual giving department.
· Organize and execute student serving programs for WyoGold under the guidance from associated department’s staff members.
· Assist with on campus event organization and execution such as Campus Trainings and College/Programs meetings.
· Research industry best practices and trends in the philanthropic industry.
· Assist in the brainstorming and production of marketing materials
· Attend annual giving staff meetings.
· Other responsibilities as assigned.
