Cost Engineer - Construction jobs in South Dakota

Peska Construction is currently accepting resumes for a project / job cost accountant. The project accountant will work closely with project managers on general contracting and land development projects. The position requires efficient data entry with a high degree of accuracy, an attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

Duties Include:

• Process AP invoices and payments
• Reconcile statements
• Process monthly pay requests and other receivables
• Monitor project receivables
• Keep accurate records for multiple construction projects
• Work with project budgets
• Communicate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and project managers
• Assist with other administrative and accounting duties as needed.

Skill Requirements:

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Well organized including time management ability
• Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software
• 2 or 4 year accounting degree
