Creative Manager is responsible for managing all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. Oversees the creation of art, photo, copy, and layout for creative projects. Being a Creative Manager implements policies and standards that reinforce the organization's branding strategy and quality goals. Manages and develops a team of designers, copywriters, project managers and vendors. Additionally, Creative Manager leads the development of creative briefs and utilizes design methodologies that meet the business objectives and timelines of the organization and stakeholders. Evaluates and adopts the most effective tools and techniques across all media. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Creative Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Creative Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Director of Marketing and Creative Services

    This position creates, oversees, manages, and executes all internal and external communications from the South Carolina Stingrays. This role will work closely across all departments (ticket sales, broadcast/communications, corporate sales, merchandise, community, creative team) to ensure marketing initiatives incorporate all aspects of the organization while staying consistent with the Stingrays brand.

    Duties and Responsibilities 
    • Create and implement marketing campaigns to help drive demand for ticketing products including single-game tickets, season tickets, groups/hospitality areas, and exclusive offers. 
    • Manage and construct social media calendar. Manufacture the voice of the South Carolina Stingrays on social media, writing copy for all posts and understanding the different demographics on each medium.
    • Collaborate with the creative team to create engaging content and stay up to date on the latest trends. Provide feedback and edits to videos and graphics created. Assist and coordinate content days.
    • Oversee negotiation, creative development and trafficking of all Stingrays paid media advertising including digital/social media, radio, print, television and outdoor, as well as strategic in-house asset management of all owned channels including digital/social, print, outdoor and in-arena. Provide creative team with direction on what to include in advertisement videos and graphics.
    • Compile marketing data and analytics to find important trends and make strategic recommendations to leadership.
    • Work alongside VP of Ticket Sales to create and execute all Ticket Sales marketing campaigns. This includes writing copy, creating graphics, creating a campaign timeline, pulling lists from StellarAlgo, and sending messages across multiple channels.
    • Work alongside Corporate Sales department in developing creative strategies to promote the team’s partners through social media, email marketing, community outreach, and website recognition.
    • Maintain strong relationships with event promoters (influencers), media outlets, third party providers/vendors and Ticketmaster/StellarAlgo/FEVO/Vozzi representatives.
    • Update website and Stingrays app regularly to reflect most up-to-date information regarding upcoming games, events, ticket information, etc.
    • Specialist in StellarAlgo, Handbid/DASH auction platforms, MailChimp eblast platform, VOZZI text platform, social media, Website, Stingrays App, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Event Vesta, etc.
    • Lead off-season promotions meetings to create a promo calendar for the upcoming season.
    • Oversee and review all auctions/raffles on Handbid/DASH and promote events across multiple channels.
    • Other duties as they appear.

    Qualifications
    • Related undergraduate degree or education equivalent experience in marketing or other closely related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing sports and entertainment environment preferred.
    • Proven track record of results in digital growth.
    • Excellent understanding and demonstrated success in building, motivating, and leading teams.
    • Strong personnel management, collaboration, communication, time management and organizational skills. Proven ability to multi-task and manage projects on strict deadlines.
    • Excellent written and verbal skills.
