We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Production Manager who would be responsible for operating the Picture framing, art print production, and custom built work on wood and metal. They will be responsible for leading and assisting in various aspects of art/design fabrication process.

This position requires common sense and a good work ethic and attitude. It is fast-paced and is an on-the-go position. Candidates will possess a meticulous attention to detail and have the experience and knowledge to be able to communicate with the most demanding clients in a deadline driven environment. You must thrive in an entrepreneurial and production, time-oriented environment and have the ability to lift 60 lb rolls of media. Verbal skills are essential. You must be a team player and communicator, able to multi-task and handle daily completion pressures. Applicant must also be able to professionally represent him/herself and the company at all times through supplied corporate clothing.

Job Responsibilities

• Visiting our vendors to purchase supplies
• Sourcing New Vendors
• keeping inventory
• shipping goods

• Can include fedEx & freight palletized shipments
• Create shipping labels
• Checking items in and stocking
• Drop offs to carriers
• Receiving goods

• Receive and inspect goods from vendors
• RMAS

Required Knowledge & Skills

-Computer literate on MAC & PC operating softwares

-Quickbooks for MAC

- working with machinery & hand tools

- ability to measure, read a ruler, and be good with numbers

- simple knowledge in large format printers

Art, framing, and vinyl experience is a plus.

REQUIRED Knowledge & Skills in the following

- cutting & joining frames

- working with machinery & hand tools

- ability to measure, read a ruler, and be good with numbers

- types of substrates - canvas, paper, mural material etc.

- computerized mat cutter

- mounting

- fitting

- matting

- hanging hardware types ( regular, frame secure, cleat, cradle etc.)

- simple knowledge in large format printers

- stetching oversized canvases

- types of glass/plexiglass
