Member Service Representative (MSR)

• Demonstrate support of Credit Union values, mission and vision.
• Perform teller transactions, and balance within required parameters, safe-guard the membership and the Credit Union by following guidelines, procedures and regulations.
• Process New Membership, Additional Accounts, and Account maintenance, dependent upon branch need and assigned role.
• Act as primary contact for all potential, new and existing members with both direct, online and telephone contact.
• Obtain knowledge of financial products and services to meet/exceed the objectives of the Credit Union, focusing on the goals of the Credit Union and the needs of our members and potential members.
• Accurately and efficiently complete all documentation and forms according to policies and procedures.
• Process Loan paperwork via Electronic Documents for lending staff.
• Contribute to efficient and effective Branch Operations by performing other related duties as assigned.
• Regular attendance and punctuality is required. Employees are expected to be at their workstations ready to work at the start of their scheduled shift and resumption of work duties after breaks and meal periods.
• Business Casual Attire Required.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Cash Handling, Banking, Credit Union experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English required.
• Proficiency with PC and software, including: Windows, Excel and Word.

Physical Requirements:

• Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Requires the ability to work on a computer, process paperwork and answer phones for long periods.
• Requires the ability to stand, lift, bend and stretch.
• Requires the ability to work in an office environment.
