Because of the nature of its work, Subsurface Insights allows staff members to work remotely: Relocation in conjunction with employment would be possible, but is not required.

• passion for applied critical zone research;
• capability for independent and self guided work;
• demonstrated software capabilities related to full stack web development and in geoscience related scientific computing and big data analytics;
• demonstrated strengths in one or more of the following: joint or coupled geophysical inversion, coupled hydrological/geophysical modeling and inversion, hydro biogeochemical modeling and parameter estimation or modeling framework design and implementation, hardware design and development;
• strong writing skills.
