Update, maintain, and track dataset/drawing/document commitments to ensure on-time releases.
Contact commitment owners/Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure commitments coming due will be released on time. If a commitment cannot be released on time, aid commitment owners/IPT focal in processing a request for recommit (RFR) to update the baseline commitment date. If a commitment is no longer necessary, aid in processing a No Release Required (NRR) to remove the commitment.
Create weekly metrics that communicate commitments effectiveness (i.e. number of items committed and the number of commitments) for each IPT.
Provide metrics to PLM manager weekly in support of program reviews.
Create a weekly report containing commitment details by IPT and provide the report to the IPT point of contact and PLM manager.
Work with IPTs to get all commitment data updated in the commitment tracker database.
Collaborate with IT to make necessary updates to the database to enable enhanced tracking of commitments (ex. define milestone constraints and make available so that each commitment is tied to a program event that drives the release need date).
Update and maintain ADL, including reviewing all incoming directives to assess ADL impact.
Review and discuss impacts with CM manager.
Represent PLM in weekly meetings.
Create documents and presentations on the current state of work in support of meetings or reviews as requested.
Provide weekly deliverables and artifacts to support, including Change Metrics, Commitments Metrics, ADL updates (as required), Late Engineering Release Report for all Core Stage and EUS, and Engineering Release Forecast for all Core Stage and EUS.
