Data Management Specialist creates, implements, and maintains master data management solutions that enable users to optimize system capabilities. Uses knowledge of end-to-end data processes to analyze, cleanse, and enrich master data elements, and ensure that data flows efficiently and consistently between users and stakeholders. Being a Data Management Specialist provides data governance and ensures data integrity by coordinating data management efforts across the organization. Troubleshoots issues related to master data management and identifies opportunities for improving data management processes. Additionally, Data Management Specialist requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Data Management Specialist work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Primary Job duties include:
o Collaborate with JIRA Epic Owners and Project Managers to log data impacts related to changes to assets and applications within the Risk & Finance Technology space, as well as validate that these impacts have been logged in appropriate systems of record
o Works with maintaining and executing EDM standards implementation plan for the domain across Capture, Transport and Use
