We are currently seeking a Systems Analyst to join our team in REMOTE, Kentucky (US-KY), United States (US).
Job Description:
- The System Analyst maintains key relationships to support customer service activities. The System Analyst work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
- The System Analyst works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. They acts as a liaison and collaborates with the business and functional stakeholders to identify and deliver IT SLA enablement solutions. The System Analyst should have strong understanding of operations, technology, communications, and processes.
- Works on set up of FTP and file transfers for existing state implementations
- Collaborate with Technical product Managers/Owners to understand the business functionality being implemented in a release so that respective applications can be supported after go live.
- Collaborates with the Medicaid IT State Leads, business leaders, Medicaid Vendor Management, Incident and Problem Management, and other areas of IT, to understand and improve IT operational performance as it supports Humana's Medicaid business
- Supports monitoring and addressing IT issues to make sure our Medicaid technology is performing optimally, maintaining compliance with all Medicaid state contract requirements
- Participates on all the Major incidents impacting Medicaid Population and represent Medicaid's technology requirements in terms of state SLA, issue resolution, alternative ways to serve the Medicaid population during the outage
- Involved in RCA (Root Cause Analysis) meetings to understand the root cause of the major incidents impacting Medicaid and discuss on solutions to avoid recurrence
- Supports in leading the discussions related to the non-critical but major Medicaid issues to resolution which involves multiple internal IT areas within Humana
- Supports in partnering with Medicaid Vendor Management in the negotiation and administration of the IT-related components of any such contracts, ensuring that state-mandated and Humana-standard SLAs are able to be effectively measured and enforced
Required Qualifications: -
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong technical knowledge on Mainframe, Open Technologies including but not limited to .Net framework and Java.
- Strong understanding of Cloud methodologies and Devops
- Solid understanding of operations, technology, and processes
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Sense of urgency in delivering customer value
