What does a Data Steward do at Swire Coca-Cola?
Our Data Steward will execute data policies and standards to ensure accuracy, quality of data through all upstream, and downstream data channels. Update, delete and add any Enterprise Master Data records per governance framework. Ensures all creation and modification of data records is done appropriately and provides the expertise throughout Swire for reporting and data. Designs and creates extracts, develops interfaces and data sources by monitoring and reconciling. Runs daily, weekly, period end reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage data integrity processes, including governance control table maintenance by creating tools/reporting (i.e. Excel, Power BI)
- Troubleshoot and solve problems with data integrity and process flow issues, initiate data cleansing activities through monitoring, tracking, and extracting interfaces and data sources to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Analyze and provide recommendations into design of customer master data requirements, enhancing data integrity for business users
- Support end business user data needs by ensuring master data governance framework is adhered to while identifying gaps in upstream or downstream data flows and processes.
- Recommend changes, develop, and maintain support to the operating procedures that would improve overall productivity and maintenance of customer master data
- Process business and enterprise changes to ensure data quality and operational excellence handling error routines and documenting revisions
- Bachelor's Degree Information technology, business or related field, or equivalent education and experience required
- 2 years’ Experience with degree in data analysis or similar data quality required
- 4 years’ Experience without degree in data analysis or similar data quality required
- Experience in Swire Systems (Dayforce, Snowflake, CONA SAP, Microsoft Teams/Office)
- Intermediate level proficiency in SQL and Power BI working with large datasets
