Data Warehouse Information Security Manager jobs in Nebraska

Phase I:

• Perform the functions required as the Nebraska Defense Research Corporation’s (NDRC’s) Information System Security Manager (ISSM), as outlined in the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), during network installation and accreditation of the RAPID LAN.
• Provide approximately 40 hours a week of on-site support to assist our network architect, during hardware installation of end-user equipment (196 TS-C workstations and 30 unclassified workstations), an on-site Dell VxRail Hyper-Converged Infrastructure system to support these workstations, and network switches to support the network. 3. Support all system configuration, testing, and documentation of accreditation package to support classified processing on the RAPID LAN.
• Serve as the alternate Communications Security (COMSEC) account custodian during network installation and accreditation.

Phase II:

• Perform the functions required as the NDRC ISSM as outlined in the NISPOM during RAPID LAN operations.
• Provide approximately 40 hours a week of on-site support required to securely operate RAPID LAN servers, workstations, and network switches.
• Support all system configuration, testing, and documentation required to maintain accreditation of the RAPID LAN.
• Serve as the alternate Communications Security (COMSEC) account custodian during network operations.

Experience:

• Have a Bachelor of Arts (or higher) Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar degree
• Have 5 years of IT experience
• Have TS-SCI and SAP/SAR access eligibility.
• ISSM must have at least 5 years of experience as an ISSM and possess a cybersecurity certification, like Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
