What you will do:
· Manage the portfolio of commercial real estate leases, overseeing interpretation and documentation.
· Ensure accuracy and completeness of lease data in the lease management system.
· Monitor financial aspects of leases including rent payments, escalations, and year-end reconciliations of common area maintenance.
· Oversee the reporting/setup of construction allowances, rent abatements, and rent credits.
· Manage the reconciliation of monthly/annual landlord statements/invoices and percentage rent.
· Coordinate with the Accounting department to ensure lease obligations are paid in accordance with the lease (i.e.- repairs and maintenance.)
· Manage day-to-day operations of lease administration team.
· Address and resolve lease disputes with landlords.
Qualifications:
· Detail oriented, organized, and have experience reviewing, interpreting, and managing Commercial lease documents.
· Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
· Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of management.
